I've never had a problem with this. Like I have a ton of different sized plates saved and I never edit them in Photoshop. Maybe you're over thinking it.

+1. I have tons of plates that are all sorts of sizes and the tool usually re sizes them for me.

I don't understand what you're saying but it can't have a border or anything like that, it's just the whole plate.
Like this: http://www.ftreg.com/blog/wp-content/upl...square.png (it can be any dimension though)
then you can adjust the size by editing the scale of the number plate itself.

RE: TUTORIALS
Mine always end up cutting half of the letters on the edges out like it's too big or something

RE: TUTORIALS
I'm having issues with the 3 piece wheels tut. When i copy the rim, the 3rd piece isn't there and i can't select on the original donor wheel either. Only way i can get it, is by using "move object group", but now i have a tire within a tire and i can't select the opposite wheel because it will just change the one i worked on.

I had to deleted the rs rim as well. Trying again!

Edit 2: Bah too, too much work. Took so long, i forgot which wheel i used the RS for and messed everything up.
