Base Model Garage
Renaming this thread back to "Base Model Garage" and will go back to my short ground up stance builds again soonly.

Here we have a long time inspiration of mine. Slammed CR-Vs.
I've got a huge soft spot for these and with the huge compatibility of these between other Honda platforms,
just like how Subaru Foresters are quite a big thing in the Subie game, I can't get over these things.
And with loads of judgement toward the Honda game from many so called car enthusiasts,
it just makes me love these things even more.

RE: Base Model Fitment
Had this old Magna wagon sitting in the garage for a few years collecting dust.
Had no use for it so it hasn't seen sunlight, but decided I wanted to have a
little project to work on and I had a free car sitting there, so here she is.
Not the most gorgeous car, but I see potential.

Walked around the local wrecker & scored cheap face-lift front bits.

Primed her up. Just about ready for paint!

Fast-forward a few weeks later. We've got her all coated and the wheels all
dialled in. Also got a boot lip, a custom spoiler I cut to fit, rep RX-7 SpiritR
front lip, E36 style side-skirts I made up & some genuine JDM RX-8 rear
lip bits I chopped up.

RE: Base Model Fitment
Today, we'll take a look at a base model 2009 Hyundai Tucson JM.

This one is quite special to me as I sold all my previous cars and recently bought a Tucson in real life.
I could not find a decent first gen Honda CR-V and I wanted something much more reliable than a Forester. I ended up with this vehicle.
It's not the fastest car being the lower end DOHC FWD City model, however I'd like to steer away from fast cars now such as the 182 Clio I previously owned.
This will be my daily cruiser & now I'll walk you through with what I'd like to eventually do to it.

I've lowered it on some Cosmis wheels with Toyo tyres for the tuner/stance look, yellowed spotlights, colour-coded grille, twin tip exhaust and a duck-tail spoiler.
Simple, but that's how I'd like it.
