Stuffed my Mazda again. >:(

Third accident I've had, but this time it was actually my fault. Reversed the car & the passenger side doors crunched into a gate at the Domino's car-park.
I'm so annoyed!

Anyway, "REQUESTS/IDEAS ON MY NEXT CAR". Should I:
1. save 6 months for a $15,000AUD '08-'09 model "Kia Koup" or
2. save a few months longer for a $23,500AUD '12 model "Toyota 86" or
3. save 6 months for a (about) $10,000AUD '04 model "Mazda RX-8"?

The guys at work say the 86 (majority of Tasmanians are stanced Subi fanatics & I have many contacts for cheap parts), but my mind tells me to go for the Kia Koup, but I love Mazdas which is why I like the RX-8.
Kinda confused lol.

I'll still be keeping my current Mazda though for work & to keep the k's down on the next car. Can't be bothered fixing the doors now. Might do it later down the track & will still continue with my plan to stance it. :)

lol I actually don't mind VWs, but would have to be a MKI or MKIV.

hey a mk4 2.0 is crazy reliable... though very slow haha.

Isn't a RX8 the other way around unreliable (don't know much about them only that the engine like to kill itself)

RE: IRL rides - YoDonny - 05-03-2015 06:16 AM

RX-8's were awesome up until a year after they came out. Then the engines began to fall apart one RX-8 at a time due to people not knowing how to properly maintain the rotary engine, hence why you see so many threads on how "it sucks". It was a bad idea for Mazda to release it with such a lame excuse for an engine with how much it weighs and lack of torque it has. It has a kinda nice design though.

My heart is and will always be in cars, but bikes have began to intrigue me.

How do recommend getting into riding?

Check vids on how to ride on youtube.. Check craigslist for a 250-600cc bike, you should be able to find something cheap. Go get a motorcycle permit and proceed to have heaps of fun for cheap.

I have an opportunity to buy a completely stock unmolested low milage s13 for the price of only $1600... My parents just don't want to go for it because they aren't sure of the reliability and age of it... How could I convince them it would be reliable...? It only has 71k miles and has the ka24de
